This letter constitutes a supplement to our letter QA-1606, dated February 1, 1982. It is our opinion that nothing in the letter is of a proprietary nature.

Item E, of the subject report, identified two inspection reports, 50-358/

80-16 and 50-358/80-25 regarding the review and revision of HJK procedures. This is being addressed as part of CG&E activities in response to your Immediate Action Letter, dated April 8, 1981. Our last correspondence indicated that all inspection procedures would be revised prior to our committed date of January 30, 1982, with construction procedure revisions scheduled to be complete by February 28, 1982.

Some procedures have been identified which are listed as administrative proce-dures because they control the interface between various organizations and therefore, did not receive review and approval by CC&E prior to January 30, 1982. Since these procedures delineate the responsibilities for Quality Assurance personnel involved in the specified processes, these procedures will be reviewed and approved by CG&E as Quality Assurance procedures. These procedures will be processed along with the other administrative and construction procedures and are scheduled to be completed by February 28, 1982 as previously committed.
