Pursuant - to the Freedom of Inf ormation Act as amended (5 U.S.C. S552), the Governrent Accountability Project (GAP) of the Institute f or Policy Studies reques ts copies of all agency records as defined by 10 C.F.R. 59.3a(b) and NRC "anual, Appendix 0211, Parts I.A.2 and A.3 (approved October 8, 1980) including, but not limited to notes, nemoranda, telephone logs, tapes, diaries, transcripts, summaries , letters, drafts, evaluations, minutes or notes of meetings, calendars, computer printouts, interview reports, ,

agreements, voice recordings, any other data compilations, interim and/or final reports and/or status reports generated in connection with --

(1) any and/or all Region III Inspection and Enforcement (IE)

Reports from November 1, 1983 to present for the Wm. H. Zimmer nuclear station located in Cincinnati, Ohio; (2)- all communications between Region III officials and any Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company, Dayton Power & Light, Columbus

& Southern Ohio Company, Bechtel or Kaiser Corporation officials, agents and/or representatives concerning the Zimmer nuclear station and/or related matters thereto, that have not been disclosed l according to the NRC protocol for communications pursuant to the Commission's November 12, 1984 Show Cause Order on Zimmer; and (3) all communications that have been released under the Commis-sion's protocol, as defined in item (2) above.

If any records have been destroyed and/or removed, please provide all surrounding records, including but not limited to a list of all records which have been or are destroyed and/or removed, a description of the actions taken, relevant date (s) , individual, office, or agency-wide policies and/or justifications ' for .-the actions,

identification of all personnel involved with the actions and any and all records relevant to, generated in connection with, and/or

GAP requests that fees be waived because " finding the information can be considered as primarily benefi tting the public" (5 U.S.C. 5 552 (a) (4) (a)) . GAP is a non-profit, non-partisan public interest organization concerned wi th honest and open government. GAP requests the above information as part of an on-going monitoring project on the adequacy of the NRC's ef forts to protect public health and safety at the Zimmer project.
