By application dated November 24,1982, ycur Company requested that the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) staff extend the latest construction completion date for Construction Pemit No. CPPR-03 for the We 11. Zimer Nuclear Power Station Unit No.1. AClassIIfee($1,200) was remitted with your application pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22 of the March 23, 1978 regulations.

Based on infonnation provided by the ONRR staff, it has been determined that this application should be exempted from the fee requirements of 10 CFR 170 of the March 23, 1978 regulations since no review had comenced on it prior to the time your Motion for Withdrawal of Application for Operating License was filed on March 20,1984. On this basis, we have concluded that an exemption, pursuant to 10 CFR 170.11(b), from the fee requirements of the March 23, 1978 regulations is authorized by law and is hereby granted for the November 24 application. Therefore, a refund of $1,200 is appropriate. Accordingly, we have concurrently authorized the Division of Accounting and Finance to refund $1,200 to your Company.

Refunds are generally processed within a two-week period.
