ZIMMER NUCLEAR POWER STATION - UNIT 1 ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION REPORT, REVISION 2 W.O. 57300, JOB E-5590, FILE 956C Attached are six (6) copies of Revision 2 to the Zimmer Environmental Qualification Report for Class lE Equipment, including the new one (1)' volume Environmental Qualification Report for Mechanical Equipment. The two (2) volume electrical report has been substantially revised to reflect ongoing work.

The. revised electrical report and the new mechanical report also address NRC concerns identified in the Equipment Qualification SER which was transmitted to CG&E from your office by Mr. B.J.

Youngblood's July 6, 1983 letter. Action continues on the qualification program which will necessitate further revision In to both the electrical and mechanical equipment reports.15, 1983 accordance with the schedule attached to our August 1etter (LOZ-83-OllO), additional information will be provided on l

April 1, 1984 and three (3) months prior to fuel load.

l Instructions for inserting the revised electrical report into the original binders are provided at the beginning of Volume 1 of

' the report. These instructions should be filed with and become a permanent part of the Environmental Qualification Report.
