Dear Mr. Denton:

Please reference the subject General Electric Report NEDO-24708 on the Zirr.er Docket in response to the NRC Letter dated July 23 from John F. Stols to Earl A. Boramann. NEDO-24708 has been transmitted to the NRC by letter dated August 17, 1979 from T. D. Keenan to D. F. Ross. This report responds in part to the short term generic infomation request of the Bulletins and Orders Task Force. A subsequent revision or supplement to this report will include the remainder of the requested information by November 16, 1979.

By letter dated July 26, 1979 from D. F. Ross to Thomas D. Keenan, the NRC requested additional information regarding boiling water reactors. As this information is applicable to only those BWR's in operation, it is not intended that there will be a recponse to that letter referenced on the Zirrer Docket.
