CHANGES IN SUPPLY SYSTEM BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Letter, G.C. Sorensen to H.R. Denton, Withdrawal of Three Public Utility Districts From Washington Public Power Supply System, dated October 1, 1984 In the reference letter you were advised that three (3) Public Utility Districts had withdrawn from membership in the Supply System. The withdrawal of these PUD's created vacancies on the Supply System Executive Board. The representative from one of the withdrawing utilities was also president of the full Board of Director s.

At its meeting on October 12, 1984, the twenty (20) members of the full Board of Directors unanimously elected Mr. Ken Cochrane of the Franklin County PUD as President. Mr. Parker Knight of Skamania County PUD was elected Vice President, the position previously held by Mr. Cochrane.

Denton Page Two The eleven (11) member Executive Board, which is responsible for major policy decisions governing the Supply System, is made up of five (5) members elected from the full Board of Directors and six (6) "outside" (not affiliated'with member utilities) members - three selected by the full Board and three appointed by the Governor of Washington State. Elected to fill the vacancies on the Executive Boar d were Mr. Raymond Colbert of Okanogan County PUD and Ms. Lois Powell of Grays Harbor County PUD.
