CORPORATE ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES

Dear Hr. Tedesco:

Recently, the Supply System announced a number of corporate organizational changes that are summarized in the attachment to this letter. These changes reflect a planned evolution of our company as we near operation of our WNP-2 facility and do not represent a major departure from organi-zational information previously submitted on the WNP-1 and WNP-2 dockets.

The changes that have been implemented help clarify lines of authority and responsibility for safe and reliable, operation of our plants and will improve corporate management of the operational phase of these projects.

We will submit modifications which reflect these recent organizational changes in the next regularly scheduled amendments of'he WNP-1 and WNP-2 FSARs.

SUPPLY SYSTEM ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES (March 9, 1982)

D. W. Mazur has been appointed Director of Projects with WNP-1, WNP-2 and WNP-3 Program Directors reporting to him. Hr. Hazur will continue to act as Program Director at WNP-1 for the present.

A. D. Kohler was appointed Director of Special Projects, reporting to Mazur.

W. C. Bibb has been appointed Director of Power Generation. The Plant Operations Managers for each plant and the Manager, Test and Startup at WNP-2 will now report to'he Director, Power Generation.

Both Mazur and Bibb report directly to the Managing Director.

Dr. J. R. Honekamp has been appointed to the Office of the Managing Director to conduct a special independent technical audit of WNP-2.

Honekamp is being assigned to direct the efforts of an outside independent audit team which will verify WNP-2's readiness to load fuel and start up safely, and to review the Supply System's organizational capabilities for operating the plant to meet all regulatory requirements.

Mr. Hazur has approximately 18 years experience in management of major construction projects and programs including nuclear plant construction.

He has previously served as Program Director for WNP-1 with the Supply System. Prior to joining the Supply System, he held positions with the Department of Energy as Director of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve Program and as Deputy Director for Construction at the Fast Flux Test Facility.

Hr. Bibb has approximately 26 years experience in the testing, startup and operation of nuclear plants. He has been with the Supply System for six years and has served as Deputy Program Director for Startup and Operations of WNP-2 and as Project Manager for WNP-2. Prior to joining the Supply System, Hr. Bibb held numerous posts with the Nuclear Energy Division of General Electric Company where he was involved with startup and operation of several boiling water reactors.
