Dear Mr. Agustini:
As we discussed during our telephone conversation of September 10, 1986, there have been no industrial discharges to Outfall'070 (S-2 Sedimentation Pond) since receiving the present NPDES permit in January 1985, yet there have been four noncompliances for total suspended solids (TSS). Discharges from this pond have been storm water runoff and not industrial effluents. Therefore, with your concurrence, beginning with the September 1986 monthly Discharge Monitoring Report, the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company will monitor.once a month for TSS and oil and grease when there is an industrial discharge to the S-2 Sedimentation Pond. Flow and pH will be monitored daily when there is _.
