Dear Mr. Koval:
Enclosed is a copy of the December 1985 Discharge Monitoring Report for Permit No. PA 0047325. The following information details data and/or non-compliances for some of the permitted outfalls:
Outfall 070:
S-2 Sedimentation Pond There were no discharges to the S-2 pond during December. However, the total suspended solids (TSS) monthly average limit of 30 mg/l was exceeded because of high solids in natural site runoff.
Outfall 071: Cooling Tower Blowdown Flows are currently being estimated.
Outfall 079: Sewage Treatment Plant TSS reduction was 83% and not 85% as required by the permit. The reason for this violation was that the solids influent level was much lower in December then in other months. See Note #2 of DMR 079.
.Outfall 271:
The TSS average monthly limit of 30 mg/l and daily maximum of 100 mg/l were exceeded (441 mg/1). This violation will be corrected in 1986. See Note #2 of DMR 271.
