We understand that when FEMARegion IIIbrought the scheduling conflicts to the attention ofU.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Region I and NRC Headquarters, they concurred with the rescheduling and asked that the rescheduled date be in the year 2000 to relieve resource demands on their stafr. Accordingly, we are asking that the SSES full-participation exercise date be changed to the week ofOctober 31, 2000. The licensee, Pennsylvania Power and Light, and the affected Pennsylvania jurisdictions do not object to this change.
