Dear Mr. Lamereaux:

Enclosed please find a revised copy of the 1985 Annual Landfill Operations Report for Solid Waste Disposal Site #3 of PP&L's Susquehanna Steam Electric Station for your review. (Reference letter PLE-8345 from May 31, 1986.)

Upon further review of the Annual Landfill Operations Report form, it was recognized that the conversion factor for tons to cubic yards noted in Part 3 is not representative of the waste disposed of at Site #3. Waste disposed of at Site #3 primarily consists of rock and concrete. PP&L references the Standard Handbook for Civil Engineers for conversion factors relating to these materials. A conversion factor of 1.5 tons per cubic yard was determined by taking an average of the reported valves. With this corrected conversion factor, the revised cubic yard valves compare more closely with the value for available storage reported on the survey drawing. The attached form represents this revision.
