Dear Ms. Hall:
Enclosed is the December 1985 NIPDWR Monitoring Report for Pennsylvania Power and Light Coepany's Sueq2ehanna Steam Electric Station.
Turbidity limit was exceeded as noted below:
The routine sample collected on December 10, 1985, had a turbidity level of 2.5 NTU. The check sample taken within one hour indicated a level of 3.0 NTU.
The Free Chlorine on this day was 2.6 mg/1, assuring there was no bacterial contamination.
This violation was reported on December 10, 1985, to the Pa DER as required by reporting requirements for noncommunity water systems when a primary maximum contaminant level is exceeded.
