SUBJECT: - NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-344/98-201
Dear Mr. Quennoz:
An NRC inspection was conducted from February 23-26,1997, at your Trojan Nuclear
Plant. The enclosed report presents the scope and results of that inspection.
The inspection covered your safety review program and follow-up on previous
noncompliance in this area. Specific areas examined included training and certification of
qualified evaluators, independent reviewers and independent safety reviewers; procedural
controls; and safety reviews.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and
its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).

An NRC inspection was conducted from February 23-26,1997, at your Trojan Nuclear j
Plant. The enclosed report presents the scopa and results of that inspection.
The inspection covered your safety review program and follow-up on previous .
noncompliance in this area. Specific areas examined included training and certification of
qualified evaluators, independent reviewers and independent safety reviewers; procedural
controls; and safety reviews.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and
its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
