By letter dated March 3, 1986, Revision 8 to the " Physical Security Plan, San Onofre Units 1, 2 and 3" was forwarded to the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Conynission (USNRC) for review pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p).
This letter responds to nodified Revision 8 textual changes implemented subsequent to the forwarding of Revision 8 to the USNRC for review. These modified changes, described in Revision 8A, were discussed between Mr. A.
McQueen, USNRC-V License Reviewer, and Mr. R. Beatty, SONGS Security Compllance, on June 24 and 25, 1986. Accordingly, pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p), enclosed are six (6) copies of the description of the Revision 8A textual chan3es discussed by Messrs. McQueen and Beatty.
The nodified changes described in the enclosure do not decrease 1he Safeguards effectiveness of this Plan.
