Trojan Nuclear Plant Response to Generic Letter 88-20 Individual Plant fsamination for Severe Accident Vulnerabilities This letter transmits the enclosed Individual Plant Examination (IPE)

Report for the Trojan Nuclear Plant in response to Generic Letter 88-20.

Portland General Electric Company (PGE) certifies that the IPE has been completed and documented as reluested by the Generic Letter. PGE also certifies that independent reviews have been performed to ensure the technical adequacy of the IPE and validation of the results. The Trojan IPE includes a Level I Coro Damage Frequency Analysis and a Level II Containment Performance Analysis.

The Trojan IPE Report shows no core damage vulnerabilities or unusually poor Containment performance.
