Dear Mr. Felton:

I am a reporter with The Standard-Times of New Bedford, !bss.

and I am requesting under the Freedom of Information Act material

, pertaining to the Pilgrim I Nuclear Power Plant in Plymouth, Ib.

Specifically, I would appreciate receiving information relative to the management report conducted by the NRC last year after which a $550,000 fine was assessed by the NRC.

Documents I have an interest in include: the report itself and any other material that relates to that report, that is,the official response by Boston Edison and any followup correspondence by the NRC; reports during the past year by the NRC as to Edison's actions to correct faults found by the NRC, and any correspondence by the NRC relative to Edison's actions.

I would also have an interest in any reports, documents or p correspondence by the NRC evaluating the Pilgrim power plant's operation during the years it has been in service. In order to put

Stu Finally, I would also appreciate a listing of any and all shutdowns of the plant that the KRC is aware of and the reason for that shutdown as well as the duration of the shutdown.
