We had a total of 2.70 percent positive tests. All but one of these tests were identified during pre-access testing. No licensee tested positive during this period. All of these contractors were denied access. The one random test q identified as a positive was a security guard and his access was revoked.

The total confirmed positive test results reflect the number of substances abused and not the number of people tested.

A total of sixteen contractors were positive for marijuana. Only nine of those were positive at the 100 nanogram level.

We began adulterant testing on March 15,1999. We are using SmithKline's " Test Sure".

This program includes the following adulteration tests:

Creatinine pH Specific Gravity l Bleach Glutaraldehyde Nitrate -

Pyridine l

, We,had ten refusals to test. Five of those were adulterated samples. Three were u identified as nitrates and two were identified as pyridine.

l Integrity checks revealed that there were twelve specimens having creatinine levels of less than 200 nanograms per liter. Two contractors refused to repeat their tests and as a l

result, they were denied access.

Six For Cause tests were performed during this period. None of these tests were positive. We performed sixty-eight tests in our follow-up testing program.

Our plant began its 30 day outage in May. Because of the increased number of positive pre-access tests, we have increased our rate of contractor testing.

One of our self-assessments was to verify the lack of false positive results due to interfering substances using our Intoxilizer 5000. The final results were conclusive that over the counter substances such as gum, Nyquil, Listerine, etc. do not cause false positive test results.
