' ADDENDUM TO SAFETY EVALUAT!ON ON PROPOSED TRANSFER OF OPERATING LICENSE AND MATERIALS LICENSE FROM BOSTON EDISON COMPANY TO ENTERGY NUCLEAR GENERATION COMPANY, PILGRIM NUCLEAR POWER STATION (TAC NO. MA5649)
Dear Mr. Reynolds:
By letter dated June 7,1999, Entergy Nuclear Generation Company informed the NRC staff of a proposed change in the corporate ownership structure involving Entergy Nuclear Generation Company. Entergy Corporation, the indirect parent of Entergy Nuclear Generation Company, proposes to make a change that would result in Entergy Nuclear Generation Company becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of a newly-created Delaware corporation, Entergy Nuclear Holding Company #1, which would be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Entergy Corporation.
As reflected in the enclosed Safety Evaluation (SE), the staff has concluded that the proposed change in the corporate structure under which Entergy Nuclear Holding Company #1 would be the parent of Entergy Nuclear Generation Company, at the time of the transfer of the licenses for Pilgrim, would not require a change to the order dated April 29,1999, approving the transfer, or any further licensing action.
With the issuance of this SE, we consider TAC No, MA5649 to be closed.
