C. 20555 Dear Mr. Vassallo I have recently filed a Petition with regard to a licensing amendment for the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, Plymouth, Massachusetts.
The amendment would increase the K-effective limit for the scent fuel storage pool for normal operation for O.90 to 0.95 The Federal Regisber announcement states the request for the amendment was dated Anril 12, 1985 I would aopreciate it very much if you could send me La copy of the amendment request and any evaluation the NRC has done with regard to it. It would be a big helo to me in understanding why the Commission feels this step does not decrease a significant safety limit in the plant, which is its current conclusion.
