The U.S Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the staff) and representatives of NextEra Energy Seabrook, LLC (NextEra or the applicant), held a telephone conference call on April 10, 2012, to discuss the response to request for additional information (RAI) concerning the Seabrook Station license renewal application (LRA). provides a listing of the participants and Enclosure 2 contains a listing of the RAls that were discussed with the applicant, including a brief description on the status of the item.

TELEPHONE CONFERENCE CALL SEABROOK STATION LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the staff) and representatives of NextEra Energy Seabrook, LLC (the applicant), held telephone conference calls on April 10, 2012, to discuss the response to the request for additional information (RAI) concerning the Seabrook Station license renewal application (LRA).

RAI B.2.1.11-2 and RAI B.2.1.12-6: Related to the Open-Cycle Cooling Water and Closed-Cycle Cooling Water Programs The staff discussed its concerns on the Open-Cycle Cooling Water and Closed-Cycle Cooling Water Programs.

The applicant understands the staff's concern and discussed submitting an LRA supplement response related to the Open-Cycle Cooling Water and Closed-Cycle Cooling Water Programs.

The staff will not send an RAI if the LRA supplement response is timely. (The applicant submitted the LRA supplement response on April 26, 2012).
