SUMMARY

OF PUBLIC MEETING On June 27, 2023, at 5:30 p.m., the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) hosted a public meeting in which NRC staff presented the Agencys assessment of the safety performance at Seabrook Station for the period of January 1 through December 31, 2022, as described in the annual assessment letter dated March 1, 2023. A copy of the letter can be accessed through the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), Accession Number ML23058A254. Following the presentation, an opportunity was provided to the members of the public to ask questions on topics discussed during the first part of the meeting and the NRCs role in ensuring safe plant operations. The following NRC staff presented during the meeting: Ray McKinley (Deputy Director, Division of Operating Reactor Safety), Travis Daun (Senior Resident Inspector, Seabrook Resident Office), Seamus Flanagan (Acting Resident Inspector, Seabrook Resident Office), Niklas Floyd (Senior Reactor Inspector, Division of Operating Reactor Safety), and Joseph DeBoer (Senior Project Engineer, Division of Operating Reactor Safety).
