TELEPHONE CONFERENCE CALL SEABROOK STATION LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the staff) and representatives of NextEra Energy Seabrook, LLC (the applicant), held a telephone conference call on April 19, 2012, to discuss the response to the request for additional information (RAls) concerning the Seabrook Station license renewal application (LRA).

RAI B.2.1.28-3 and RAI B.2.1.31-1: Related to the ASME Section XI. Subsection IWL and Structures Monitoring Programs The staff discussed its concerns with the ASME Section XI, Subsection IWL and Structures Monitoring Programs.

The applicant understands the staff's concern and discussed submitting a plant-specific aging management program related to alkali-silica reaction (ASR) as well as submitting the engineering evaluation on the docket.

The staff will review the applicant's submittal. The staff will not send an RAI. This item is tracked as Open Item 01 3.0.3.2.18-1 in the safety evaluation report with open items.
