Tne mechanism causing the problen is a plastic plug which could bicck an air port in the solenoid actuator preventing proper operaticn.
The solenoids in questico are manufactured by ASCO.(Hodel No. 8320A102)
These valves are norrally left in the closed position and are opened only when a sorple is required.
In addition, the valve is designed to fail in the closed pos.ition, therefore the isolaticn capabii t'y of these valves will not he affected by such a failure.
