devices could not be turne.d on.
The devices are m.ed for motor pr01eci.ion in a 480V network and ar:c operated about three time..; pe.r year. P-Lll'lbie.nt tc.mpe.rature is 8CtF.

TI1e drcuit breakers h.n*e been examined visually and have he{:11 str,.ted as in good condition. Re~ponsibk for the failure was 1he urok('.1: s*.Jppllrting lever. of the ~-v.it\\°':h latch. To receive more de.railed results we initiatt:u & lc:1boratory analysis.
2.1 Result of' laboratory* analysis The fracture ~urfacc of the lever does not ~Huw,rny blowhoks OI :,inkholes which could have c:<tused i.he fracture.
Further a material removal fnim the lever can be excluded as the C\\'alu~nion of the 1 e.lative vist'o~ity shows.
Apparently there was a ~tress corrosimi <.~1 acki-ng cws;;.d by 1he rnech.mical joads im,ide the circuit breaker and environmental influences, e.g..solv~nt exhalation CKW

Es wurden 2. Ge.rUtc NZM6-63/2.M6-40 rekhun ien, die im Oktobcr 1972 von Kl&kner Moeller hergest.ellt wonfon sind. Nach Au~s:!ge de& Kumlen licBen :cich die beiden Gerik: nicht einschalten..
Die Gerl1te sind fUr den Motorschutz in einem 480 Y Netz eingesetzt umk wcrden cl\\. 3 mal im Jahr geschalt.et. Die Umgebungstemperatur bcotigt 80 o F. Ober dfo Ausfallursache sollte cine Stellwignahme erfolgen.
Z. Untersuchunprgebnis Die Schalter wurden ciner visuellen Pri.lfung l!H~rwgcn u..ud l>dw1Jc11 slcl1 hi ciucm 5e}ar guten Zustand. FUr clas Fehlverhalten des Schalters ist dcr Bruch des StUt.z.hcbcls im Sc~alt.schloB venu1twonlich. Um weitere Aufschlu~s-t Uher der. Bruch z.u crhahcn wlJl"di:: ei.nc.
