Mark I Containment Program - General Electric Report NEDE-21878-P, " Analytical Model for Computing Air Bubble and Boundary Pressures Resulting from an S/RV Discharge Through a T-Quencher Device" Cooper Nuclear Station NRC Docket No. 50-298, DPR-46

Dear Mr. Ippolito:

The subject report was transmitted to the NRC by the General Electric Company by letter from L. J. Sobon to V. Stello dated February 26, 1979.

This report describes the methodology for calculating the loads on the boundaries of the Mark I pressure suppression pool due to safety / relief valve actuation in plants equipped with T-Quencher discharge devices.

Since this report will be utilized in support of the Cooper Nuclear Station containment evaluation program, we would like to request that the subject report be included on NRC Docket No. 50-298 for Cooper Nuclear Station.
