Dear Mr. Berry:

This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated November 7, 1986, which transmitted changes, identified as temporary changes, to the " Palisades Plant Security Plan," under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p).

. We have reviewed the submitted changes and have determined that they are consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p) and are therefore acceptable.

It is requested that you notify the NRC to delete the temporary changes from the approved security plan when they are no longer being utilized by the plant.

The enclosures to your letter contain Safeguards Infonnation of a type specified in 10 CFR 73.21 and are being withheld from public disclosure.
