REVIEW 0F REVISION 12 TO THE PALISADES SUITABILITY, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATION PLAN This acknowledges receipt of your letter dated August 31, 1993, which transmitted changes identified as Revision 12 to the Palisades Suitability, Training and Qualification Plan submitted under'the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p).

We have reviewed the submitted changes and have determined that they are consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p) and are therefore acceptable, except as noted in the enclosure of this letter.

For those items identified as being unacceptable under the. criteria of 10 CFR 50.54(p), the previously approved plan revision must be followed. The items determined to be unacceptable have been discussed with NRC Headquarters (NRR/RSGB).

You are requested to provide corrections to your suitability, training and qualification plan to address the issues identified in the enclosure within two months after receipt of this letter.

You may submit the_ changes either in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p) or 10 CFR 50.90.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
