REVIEW 0F PALISADES SUITABILITY, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATION PLAN, REVISION 13.

Dear Mr. Rogers:

This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated May 25, 1994, which transmitted changes identified as Revision 13 to the Palisades Suitability, Training and Qualification Plan (STQP) submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p).

We have reviewed the submitted changes and have determined that they are consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p) and are therefore acceptable, except as noted in the enclosure of this letter.

For the item identified as being unacceptable under the criteria of 10 CFR 50.54 (p),

the previously approved plan must be followed.

The item determined to be unacceptable was discussed with your Senior Plant Property Protection Operating Supervisor and he agreed to further clarify the specific requirement.

You are requested to provide corrections to your suitability, training and qualification plan to address the issues identified in the enclosure within two months after receipt of this letter.

You may submit the changes either in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p) or 10 CFR 50.90.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commiss. ion's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
