John Larkins The purpose of this letter is to respond to the subject Bulletin.
Rancho Seco personnel have reviewed plant records to provide the information required by Actions Requested Items 1 through 5.
This review revealed that pressure and differential pressure transmitters, Models 1153 and 1154, supplied by Rosemount do not perform any safety related function in the current plant mode.
Therefore, the items to be addressed in NRC Bulletin No. 90-01 have been deferred in accordance with the District's administrative controls.
Based on the absence of fuel in the reactor, the Actions Requested in the Bulletin are not applicable.
Members of your staff with questions requiring additional information or clarification may contact Mr. Jerry Delezenski at (209) 333-2935, extension 4914.
