y Regarding:ISI, we understand that the NRC's review of ourfsecond 10-year ISI'

program has been stopped. He' concur _that no further work should be accomplished.on the second:10-year program. As previously established in our e
Novemb'er '17,1989,1 November 2,1989, and September 11, 1989 letters regarding 1

LISI; Rancho Seco need not: complete any remaining inspections'to meet ASME-

'3 Section XI and 10 CFR 50.55a requirements.

Therefore; those inspectionsinot completed pertaining to the first 10-year ISI1 program:will not be performed.

Hethave no-: intent -to operate the plant as a nuclear facility:in the future,

andittereforetwill:have'no need:to perform any additional inspections.. Under the current-and future planned plant conditions,-there will be no affect on public health and. safety by not performing these inspections.-
