Licensee Action on Previous Inspection Findings (0 pen) Unresolved Item (456/83-09-04A; 457/83-09-04A and 456/83-09-04B; 457/83-09-048): As documented in Inspection Reports No. 50-456/83-09 and No. 50-457/83-09, deficiencies concerning piping material control resulted in the lack of traceability'of some -installed piping component Subsequently, the licensee committed to perform a 100% verification
; of the piping components installed during the period of interest (the
! Material Traceability Verification program). The purpose of this report is.to delineate the inspection performed of the licensee's activities concerning the " Stores Request Only" portion of the

Thirty piping components, which had been accepted on the basis of the " Stores Request," were randomly chosen for an extensive document review to determine if the other associated documentation contradicted or supported the conclusions drawn by the licensee in regards to the -
acceptability of the componen It is important to note that even the components categorized as
" Stores Request Only" have various types of associated documentatio These other types of documentation include Field Change Orders (FCOs),
Southwest Fabricating spool drawings, Phillips Getschow spool-drawings, Field Fabrication Process and Data Sheet (FFP & Ds), weld rod withdrawal tickets, documentation concerning traceability of associated components (backing rings, fittings and adjacent piping) and Stores Requests.
