This refers to the meeting conducted at your staffs request at the Region II Office in Atlanta, Georgia on March 27, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. The meetings purpose was to introduce the sites new management team and to discuss plant status and various management initiatives at the Shearon Harris Nuclear Plant. Enclosed is a list of attendees and the information presented during the meeting.
The discussions included the following topics: operational focus; maintenance fundamentals; equipment reliability; human performance; unit staffing plans; NRC cross-cutting aspects; site/security collaboration; training throughput and exam issues and sustaining good performance. The meeting was candid and informative and provided useful insight into your staffs understanding and resolution of the discussed topics. The meeting did not result in specific action items or decisions.
