l United States Nuclear Kegulatory Commission May 24, 1989 Attention: Document Control Desk Page 2 a) for those pages designated 3/4 7-16A and 3/4 7-17A, these revisions accurately reflect the as-built plant; b) for those pages designated 3/4 7-16B, 3/4 7-17B, and 3/4 7-17Ba, these revisions are compatible with, and accurately reflect, the system configuration which will result from implementation of modifications to the Control Building HVAC (CBA) System as described in References (g) and (h). NRC Staff approval of these modifications is documented in Reference (i).

As a result of this review, a required correction to the revised Technical Specifications has been identified. This correction is provided in the form j of a marked-up page as Enclosure 1.

New Hampshire Yankee has performed a process to certify the Technical Specifications based on a review of the Seabrook Station FSAR through Amendment 61, the NRC Staff's Safety Evaluation Report through Supplement 7 j and the plant's as-built condition. To the best of my knowledge and belief, and based on the foregoing, I certify that the draft Technical Specifications as forwarded by Reference (f), with the inclusion of the enclosed correction, are compatible with the as-built plant configuration, the Seabrook Station FSAR through Amendment 61, the NRC Staff's Safety Evaluation Report through Supplement 7, and other docketed correspondence with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Very truly yours, N
