Docket Nos. 50-424 and 50-425 4 Z.

Dear Mr. Bordenick:

The Licensing Board expects that the hearing in the captioned

'- proceeding will commence sometime in March, 1986. Prefiled testimony of a party's direct case will be due 15 days prior to the start of the hearing. We cannot be more precise with the dates at this time because we are continuing to rule on motions for summary disposition.

Among the issues to be heard are contentions on emergency preparedness. The Licensing Board requests that you advise the Federal Emergency Management Agency of this expected scheduling so that it will be prepared to present its testimony.

A copy of this letter is being served on all parties of record so they too will be able to start preparing for the hearing.

Very truly yours, ,

Morton B. Margulies, Chairman Administrative Law Judge cc: Service List DOC hj212 PD b b *-- -
