SUt94ARY OF MEETING OF THE V0GTLE COORDINATING GROUP REGARDING ENFORCEMENT PROPOSALS j
A meeting was held at NRC Headquarters in Rockville, Maryland'on Wednesday, September 8, 1993 to discuss plans for reviewing the findings of an ongoing 01 investigation related to the March 20, 1993 emergency diesel generator failures. The purpose of the review is to develop a proposal on what enforcement actions may be appropriate based on those findings. The following 1

D. Matthews received comments from the Group on a draft charter that had been i
distributed to the participating offices for management review prior to the i
meeting. A small number of minor comments were discussed and adopted.
i Agreement was reached on the final wording of the charter.
L. Robinson Uesented the status of the 01 investigation.
Items of potential j
relevance te the Group's purpose were identified and discussed.
A schedult consistent with the proposed charter and ASLB Memorandum and Order dated August 31, 1993, was established.
L. Robinson agreed to provide the following 01 documents not later than the dates indicated:
1 September 16, 1993 - List of persons interviewed and list of exhibits i
September 24, 1993 "Roadmap" of the evidentiary bases for 01's preliminary conclusions October 22, 1993 - 01 Summary Report 1

, The group agreed that sufficient information was available now to begin their i
review.
(The information consisted of LERs, licensee-N2C correspondence, and transcripts and excerpts of interviews and taped conversations.) The next meeting of the Group is scheduled for Monday, September 13, 1993.
