This responds to your letter of April 18, 1985, wherein you requested an extension to License Condition 9.3.

Due to the continuation of the circumstances described in your letter of January 18, 1985, as further discussed during several telephone conversations between your Mr. R. J. Gigliotti and Mr. 0. F. Smith of the HRC staff, we find your request to be reasonable and justified, and have determined that granting it vill not adversely affect the common defense and security nor the public health and safety and is othemise in the public interest. Accordingly, we are hereby revising License Condition 9.3 of Safeguards A11endment SG-1 to yo'ur License No. SfE-368, effective immediately, to read as follows:

9.3 The licensee is authorized to employ uncleared guards in towers and on patrol outside of the protected area until July 31, 1985, provided all of the conditions specified in the licensee's letter of October 24, 1984, concerning this subject, are strictly adhered to. This license condition will automatically expire on July 31, 1985, unless sooner rescinded by the Comission.
