Dear Mr. Gigliotti:

This is in response to your letter of June 1,1989 requesting that a two week extension be granted for the submission of revised physical protection plans required by the comparability upgrade rule.

Because of the unannounced inspection that impacted upon your personnel who might otherwise June 26, 1989 have been engaged in responding to the rule change, you as may set delasubm forth in 53 FR 45452 dated November 10, 1988.

This extension is authorized by law and will not endanger life or property or the (

common defense and security, and is otherwise in the public interest.
