Dear Mr. Austin:
This letter transmits final decontamination and decommissioning survey data for specific portions of the UNC Naval Products facility.
These areas comprise the remaining buildings at this
- site, including encapsulated material manufacturing areas; identified incident areas; office areas, mezzanines and new MFP facility; and support buildings.
Copies of this data have also been sent to NRC Region I and ORISE.
All survey data confirm that these areas meet the release criteria for unrestricted use established in our license.
The areas
-identified are ready for NRC confirmatory surveys and we request that ORISE be scheduled into our facility in February 1993 to perform that work.
