Dear Mr. Gigliotti:

LRouse This is in response ~to your letter of January 23, 1989 which forwarded Change 8 to your UNC-NP Physical Protection Plan. We have reviewed the pro)osed change and have found it conforms to current guidance and standards and tlat it is acceptable in meeting the requirements of 10 CFR 73.46.

Accordingly, we are hereby amending Safeguards Amendment SG-1 to your License No. SNM-368 by reissuing License Condition 9.1.A. effective upon receipt of this letter to read as.follows:

9.1.A .The licensee shall follow the physical protection plan entitled UNC-Naval Products Physical Protection Plan," dated May 30, 1986, as revised by Revision 8 dated January 23, 1989, and as further revised in accordance with 10 CFR 70.32(e). (See attached listing-for additional intermediate approved revisions.)

The measures described in the letter identified in the above license condition are withheld from public disclosure because they contain classified (CONFIDENTIAL)

National Security Information and must be controlled in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Part 95.
