Dear Ms. Stamiris:

By letter dated April 12, 1983, Mr. Brunner committed to providing the affidavit concerning the cumulative nature of the draft versions of that portion of the Applicant's Response to the Notice of Violation EA83-3 (dated March 10, 1983) dealing with the IPIN Task Force findings, by Friday, April 15th. Unbeknownst to Mr. Brunner, various problems with schedules and availability of some individuals delayed the procurement of copies of the drafts until this morning. Because of this unavoidable delay, it is not possible to review the drafts and issue the af fidavit 'on Friday, April 15th.

The drafts are presently being reviewed by both Isham, Lincoln & Beale and Consumers Power Company attorneys. It is anticipated that the review will be completed and the affidavit issued no later than Wednesday, April 20th.

We also hope to have comp?eted our activities concerning the remainder of your QA discovery request before the end of next week.
