On June 30, 1982, Applicant Louisana Power & Light Company ,s l ,

(" Applicant") filed its " Motion for Extension of Time to Answer doint '-

Intervenors' June 15, 1982 Motion" (" Applicant's Motion"). Therein, the Applicant sought an extension of time in which to respond to Joint Intervenors' motion to reopen on issues relating to Table S_3 and high level waste. As noted therein, the Staff does not oppose Applicant's Motion and requests that any extension of tire granted to Applicant be granted equally to the Staff (See Applicant's Motion, at 2). ,_

This is to inform you that the Staff's position remains as stated in Applicant's Motion, and the Staff does not intend to file a formal reply to that Motion.
