The purpose of this letter is to transmit our response to your October 31, 1980 communication that withdrew a request for amendment to ycur Licenses SNM-7 and 34-6854-5.
In. view of that withdrawal, your request of August 17, 1978 to permit temporary departure from the upper limits of radioactivity in your hot cell storage pool is considered void. Therefore, no further action on that request will be taken by this branch.
The request to authorize non-routine storage pool conditions specified in your letter of October 31, 1980, has been discussed with your u.r. Toy. Our understanding of those discussions is that the subject limits are to be incorporated in your license as renewed. Accordingly, the proposed non-routine pool conditions will be considered in our ongoing review of the license renewal application.
