Dear Sir:
i On June 1,1993, we notified the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of our intent to implement the provisions of the new 10 CFR Part 20 requirements in our Battelle Columbus Laboratories Decommissioning Project (BCLDP). On July 20,1993, you requested our rationale for requesting a phased implementation of the new Part 20 requirements, rather than applying them to all of Battelle's activities under the licens-Our plans for comprehensive application of the new requirements are now more fully developed, thus we now would like to inform you that we will implement the provisions of the new 10 CFR Part 20 requirements on November 1,1993, for all of our NRC regulated activities.
