In I&E Bulletin 79-06B, you requested that NNECO propose changes, as required, to those technical specifications which must be modified as a result of implementing various items specified in the bulletin.
NNECO has carefully evaluated the bulletin items, the responses to those items fonvarded to you on April 24, 1979, and the various administrative and technical methods of implementing those responses.
We have concluded that no technical specification changes are required at this time.
In our April 24, 1979 response, we indicated that a design change was made to eliminate the automatic start feature of the containment sump pumps. As of this date that is the only design change positively identified as a result of our responses to bulletin 79-06B. A number of other changes are under review and will be implemented, if deemed necessary, in a timely manner.
