Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 2 Revision 8 to the Vodated Final Safety Analysis Report in 1982,III Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNEC0) submitted the initial updated Final Safety Analysi s Report (FSAR) for Millstone Unit No. 2 in fulfillment of the requirements of 10CFR50.71(e).
This rule further requires that subsequent revisions of the FSAR shall be filed no less frequently than annually, and shallgflect all changes up to a maximum of 6 months prior to the date of filing Pursuant to 10CFR50.71(e)(4), as Attachment 1, NNECO hereby presents the Staff with Revision 8 to the updated FSAR.
This revision is provided in the form of replacement pages as required by 10CFR50.71(e)(1) an This revision presents changes completed since our previous submittalg(5).
which are necessary to reflect information and analyses submitted to the Commission or prepared pursuant to Cornmission requirements as of December 31, 1989.
Pursutnt to 10CFR50.71(e) and 10CFR50.4(b)(6), this transmittal consists of one original and ten copies.

(2) To meet the annual submittal requirement, NNEC0 will provide an FSAR revision by June 30 of each year.
However, for internal scheduling purposes and continuity with other annual reporting requirements, NNEC0 may provide the FSAR revision one to several months in advance of the annual due date.
