Gentlemen:

Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 2 Feedwater Lines Pursuant to 10CFR50. 54 (f) , the NRC Staff requested, (Reference (1)) , informa tion regarding t'te design, f abrication history, and inspection of feedwater lines at Millstone Unit No. 2.

In response to that request, Northeast Nucleer Energy Company (NNECO) docketed Reference (2), which addressed each of the Ref erence (1) concerns.

Subsequent review has determined that the response to Item 5 on Page 7, regarding fabrication history of the feedwater piping, should be revised as indicated below.

"A Charpy V-notch NDTT temperature of +20 F was specified for the 18" Schedule 60 pipe class EBB piping inside the contain-ment penetration sleeves. The minimum absorbed energy was in accordance with N-421 of the ASME III Code."
