OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE DOCKET NO.: 50-335 UNIT: St. Lucie N1 DATE: September 13, 1995 COMPLETED BY: J.A.ROGERS TELEPHONE: (407) 467-7296 REPORT MONTH Au st 1995 Unit 1 was manually shut down for Hurricane Erin on August 1. The unit remained offline for the rest of the month to repair a reactor coolant pump (RCP) seal, to resolve problems with power operated relief valves (PORVs), and to cleanup the containment building following an inadvertent initiation of containment spray.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.

The unit resumed operation on August 5. On August 15 unit 2 reduced power for backpressure control, repair of a heater drain pump solenoid valve, and waterbox cleans.ng. Unit 2 returned to full power on August 29.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to .the PORVs or safety valves during the report period.
