SUMMARY

OF OPERATI EXPERI CE DOCKET NO.: 50-389 UNIT: St. Lucie N2 DATE: June 3, 1997 COMPLETED BY: J.A.ROGERS TELEPHONE: (561) 467-7296 Unit 2 remained offline for refueling and maintenance through May 24.

Mode 5 was reached at 1603 on May 13; Mode 4 was reached at 1749 on May 20; Mode 3 was reached at 0350 on May 22. On May 24 at 0543 the unit entered Mode 2 and Mode 1 was reached at 1042 on May 25. On May 25 at 1934 the unit was synched to the grid and Cycle 10 began. Full power was achieved at 1311 on May 29.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the power operated relief valves or the safety valves during the report period.
