ROGERS TELEPHONE: (561) 467-7296 REPORT MONTH ~Aril 1999 Unit 2 operated at essentially full power through April 5. On April 6, the unit downpowered to approximately 28% power due to a leak on the suction line ECCS low pressure piping. Power was increased to approximately 50% during repairs. The unit remained at 50% through April 10 and increased power to 95% by end of the day. Details of this event may be found in LER 1999-003.

Unit 2 remained at essentially full power for the remainder of the month.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the power operated relief valves or the safety valves during the report period.
