k UMMARY OF OPERATI G EXPERIE CE DOCKET NO.: 50-335 UNIT: St. Lucie g1 DATE: February 5, 1997 COMPLETED BY: J.A.ROGERS TELEPHONE: (561) 467-7296 REPORT MONTH Janua 1 7 Unit 1 operated at essentially full power until January 31. On January 31 the unit downpowered to approximately 80% power to repair a leak on a turbine cooling water system hydrogen cooler. Upon completion of repair, the unit was unable to return to full power due to a problem with control rod N38. The unit returned to full power on February 1.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the power operated relief valves or the safety valves during the report period.

PERAT EX ER E DOCKET NO.: 50-389 UNIT: St. Lucie g2 DATE: February 5, 1997 COMPLETED BY: J.A.ROGERS TELEPHONE: (561) 467-7296 Unit 2 operated at essentially full power until January 20. On January 20 the unit downpowered to approximately 90~ to inspect circulating water piping. On January 22 the unit further downpowered to approximately 80~ to replace a solenoid on the 2A moisture reheater separator reheat stop valve. The unit remained at 80% power for further inspection and repair of circulating water piping and for turbine valve testing on January 23. The unit returned to full power on January 24.

In accordance with the requirements of Technical Specification 6.9.1.6, there were no challenges to the power operated relief valves or the safety valves during the report period.
